CoderDojo’s one rule? Be cool.

I’m heading to CoderDojo’s Coolest Projects event in DCU Glasnevin tomorrow (June 7th) to interview some of the children with projects on display. CoderDojo teaches kids to code, for free, in 431 dojos spread over 44 countries.
The event in DCU will run between 10.30 and 18.00 and is free to attend once you apply for tickets here http://is.gd/U8V12a.
For a better idea of why we need CorerDojos and what their ethos is, here’s co-founder Bill Liao explaining their one rule-be cool.

  1. First of all I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question that
I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center
yourself and clear your mind before writing.
I’ve had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?
    Many thanks!
