Dark Days, Marc Singer goes underground in New York to live with a unique ‘family.’

Dark Days restored my faith in the documentary format when I first saw it in 2002.  Marc Singer takes his camera underground beside Penn Station in NYC to speak to the residents of this Dark world.
What Singer discovers is heartbreaking and moving in equal measure. The soundtrack is by the peerless Dj Shadow and adds to the sense of other-worldliness.
