The Importance Of First World Problems

 

There’s an old Irish saying: There’s no sore arse like your own sore arse.” Apart from being an amusing phrase there’s something wise about this observation. No matter how empathetic we may consider ourselves nothing gets our attention as much as our own set of problems, whether big or small.

In this video the excellent School Of Life tackle some of the problems of modern, Western, first-world life. As well as identifying the problems, something we’re all well schooled at, they suggest changes we can make to improve our enjoyment of the first world.*
