Aoife McLysaght: Geneticist

Screen shot 2015-08-24 at 12.11.43

It’s my great pleasure to be interviewing geneticist Aoife McLysaght later this week. Aoife works at the Molecular Evolution Lab in Trinity College, Dublin. Aoife is one of those scientists who communicates complex ideas brilliantly. To paraphrase Einstein, who was probably paraphrasing someone else, McLysaght makes things as simple as they need to be, but not simpler.

Below are three videos featuring Aoife:
The first is a talk for the Science Gallery Aoife gave at the Electric Picnic last year.
The second video is from TEDxDublin in 2012.
The third is from a talk Aoife gave to the Dublin Atheists in the Pub.
On the subject of atheism check out my 2 posts on the subject here and here.
