Alastair Humphreys: Recommendations

I've a short new feature at the end of my episodes where I ask guests about their favourite podcast, tv show, film, documentary etc. It's a great way to get a sense of people's influences and an even better way to discover some excellent new books, shows, and docs. Below are the recommendations of Alastair Humphreys.

Apologies that it’s taken me so long to get around to posting Alastair’s recommendations but I’ve been bust camping in the mountains, no really I have!

Alastair gave honourable mentions to;

  1. Sir Patrick Lee Fermor (Guardian obit here)
  2. Sir Wilfred Thesinger (Guardian obit here)
  3. Ranulph Fiennes (Website here)
  4. Dervla Murphy (Website here [look at that face!])

Here’s the rest of his list.  Enjoy. Dave
